TIMBERHAVEN VIKINGS
Wel
come to Timberhaven Vikings! We are a group of historical reenactors loosely based around Portland Oregon. We demonstrate historically accurate aspects of the European Viking Age (793 AD – 1066 AD). Interests and skills among Timberhaven vary, but all of us are capable of portraying a lower to middle class person from the time frame previously noted. Members portray Scandinavians, Anglo-Saxons, Normans, and related peoples of the early Middle Ages and participate in woodworking, blacksmithing, leatherworking, steel combat, weaving and sewing, cooking, etc.
All members of Timberhaven are also members of Vikings North America, our parent organization. Non-VNA members have access to our Timberhaven Vikings! Facebook page, while paid members are on the Timberhaven Members private page. We have no other official affiliations as a group (SCA, Regia, et al.) but we are represented in the Northwest Viking Alliance. Many members of Timberhaven do have personal affiliations with said groups, however.
