Ribe Viking Center  The stated purpose of Ribe VikingeCenter is to communicate Ribe’s Viking Age history by bringing it to life in our reconstructed environments. Alongside the presentation, theories are tested and developed through experimental archaeology; not just as regards the reconstruction of buildings, garments, tools and equipment but also in relation to the sociological side of history: How did communal life take shape under the physical conditions and surroundings of the past.

Viking Age Clothing Viking age re-enactment is growing more and more. To be able to contribute to and participate in a world that feels like the Viking age, we need clothes; clothes that make us look and feel like vikings. This is exactly how we wish to help. The idea behind this site is to provide you with more information and help you with creating a Viking age outfit that is as real as possible.
