VIKING AGE REENACTMENT GROUPS

This area is devoted to some of the various Viking Age reenactment groups I’ve come into contact with over the years. In the beginning, there was The Vikings of Bjornstad. I became a member in 2006, after returning from a reenactment of the 940th anniversary of the Battle of Hastings in England.

I’m still a member to this day and serve as the assistant group leader and Authenticity Officer, in the latter case probably more because of my super sleuthing skills (I enjoy doing research) on the internet, more than my actual knowledge of the Viking Age.

What I would like to do here is to encourage any groups that wish to be listed (gotta have those reciprocal links!) on my website, to drop me a note with whatever copy you wish to have, a logo if you have one and some pictures. You can get an idea from the groups that are currently listed. I’ve met a number of  reenactors from Europe and other places on social media, and also in person when I’ve traveled to Europe. It would be my pleasure to provide you and your group with a full page devoted to your organization and I would provide a “proof” of what I’ve done for your approval prior to posting it for general consumption on the internet.

I used to do this for a living before I retired, but that’s another story. The page listing is free and comes with no strings. If you or your group are interested, you can reach me via the Contact page.
